So glad I ordered. Really appreciate that it came with the 2024 updated ACLS.

This is the second time I have purchased fast facts. I compared the two copies I have, the old and the new. The older version had bolder print and thicker, sturdier pages. The content is fine, but it is difficult for me to read the lighter ink and that disappoints me. I have to use a magnifying glass. It looks like the font is the same size but the current version is just not as bold.

Bought these for my son and daughter who are ER nurses I looked at them they are very nice , well made books . I think they are gonna really like them I would have got one for myself but I’m retiring soon .

I’ve had my Fast Facts for Critical Care since 2007 and it has been a great reference over the years. My daughter in-law just graduated from nursing school and I bought one for her as a graduate gift.
Abigail W.
Great reference guide! I use it at work all the time!
Deanna S.
She’s small but she’s mighty. Really appreciate the pictures and the details the notebook provides

This book is easy to read and understand. Helps me get back to the basics also. I'll have it by my side for my new training in CCU.
Rebecca D.
This book is very well done and a great asset for any ICU nurses.

I am a retired cathlab and IR nurse. My granddaughter is in nursing school now and I bought it for her. I told her it was an invaluable resource for me so I wanted her to have one.
Ruthie S.
This is the perfect little companion for a non-ICU nurse thrown into the intensive care world. I am an organ recovery coordinator with a background that is not adult ICU. I use this book every single day to help me with donor management. I would not have made it this far without my Fast Facts book!
Aisha S.
Although I’ve worked in the ICU for years, I sometimes still go for reference checks and this book is awesome for that. It’s precise, short and sweet!! I have been recommending to my coworkers and student nurses!!
Patrick B.
This book is essential for ICU nurses and it has abundant information about advanced hemodynamics and other vital aspects of care for critical care nursing.
Mary M.
I had high hopes for this book. Sadly it is written in a ridiculously small micro print that even with glasses, makes it useless
Save your money!!

Amazing resource! I lost my previous copy and have been lost without it. Too bad 2016 was the last update.
Alicia
Fantastic reference for the new ICU nurse. It lives in my work locker.

In 2002 I deployed to Iraq with the USN. Our Fleet Hospital ordered this book for each RN. I have NEVER worked without it close to my side just in case I needed it!!!. My Fast Fact's book has been updated 4 times.

I’ve waited two years to purchase this book! When I was a nurse intern during nursing school all the nurses on my unit had this book in preparation for their CCRN. I had ready over different topics a few times and loved the layout! Once I received word that I passed my NCLEX 2 weeks ago, I purchased the book! I started this week as a new graduate nurse in the medical ICU and I can’t wait to continue utilizing this book to expand my experience as a nurse! Thank you!

I have bought a few of these books over the years. The first was for myself on the advice of my ICU preceptor. I can only say that it has been an important factor in my professional progression from novice to expert over the last 27 years. It is one of the rare resources that teaches you what to DO for the patient, and what you can expect the MD to order. It elevates practice. This one is for a CNA in nursing school whom I believe will one day be a great critical care RN.
I must point out, however, that I found a critical error in the gtt tables. The entry for dobutamine shows the concentration of drug to diluent next to it. You have Nipride instead of dobutamine. Pleae fix this.

I ordered this as a new nurse in the ICU. I have pretty much referenced it every shift and it has supplemented my learning very well!
Steve
Literally a life saver for me in paramedic school. Clean concise summaries in an easy to digest format. 10/10 recommend.
Chelsea J.
Concise reference. I use it daily as a new Truma Surgical ICU Nurse.
Quinn L.
Compact, well-explained and concise. A great addition to any ICU nurses repertoire!
Tyara T.
I love this book. I’m a preceptor and I buy it as gifts for my orientees/ mentees! Great reference guide!
Salvatore H.
Recommended to me by a mentor and I am not disappointed! Great, easy to read information that breaks down everything and is truly applicable to bedside nursing.
Julie C.
Love this thing! My cousin who is now a nurse practitioner let me borrow hers for my clinicals in the ICU, I had to get my own for once I graduate since it was so nice to have for reference!
Arnold U.
I lost my copy of this Fast Fact for Critical Care (someone borrowed it and never returned it to me, lol), but this is a very useful reference in the ICU, so I bought a new copy. I really use this a lot and when I am teaching or precepting new RNs, I usually refer to this book and actually tell the young RNs to buy this book. I am not affiliated with this company, and the reason I am encouraging others to purchase this reference material is that it is really useful and practical for ICU Nurses.
Bonnie C.
This was highly recommended by an experienced ICU coworker who has used it for many years. As a newer ICU nurse, I love having the references easily accessible. The layout is easy to navigate and I'm so happy I bought the book.
Dana B.
I love the size of the book , I can put it in my back back pack and take with me for a simple reference . it is simple to use I like the tan format
Elise C.
Used the fast facts notebook for years. Full of useful information and easy to get too. Love it!
Lisa B.
For several years I have found answers to my questions in this concise reference. I have gifted this to many new nurses that I know will utilize this information to improve their knowledge and skill of our profession.
Lisa B.
I was very happy with my purchase and plan to purchase more for my ICU employees!
Melissa
Lots of great info!
Ashley L.
I love the size and set up of this book! I work nights so I can easy spend just a few minutes looking at or reviewing sections at work when I get a minute!
Ashley
Just got in the mail and seems like a great resource! Only wish it was laminated to avoid any accidental rips/wear flipping through the binder.
Jennifer M.
I’m a newbie in ICU & this little reference book is just the thing I needed.
Danielle C.
I’m blown away by the wealth of information this small binder contains! Thank you so much! I use this to review and even to learn about things for fun on my days off. Easy to understand and goes above and beyond what I expected

Given as a gift to my son as it was recommended by others. He just graduated and will begin his new carrier in ICU in August. He is looking forward to using same
Wendy M.
My book arrived on time and intact. Good quality and good information to have as a new ICU nurse.

Extremely detailed, can be used in an Emergency Department. I bought one for the 6 Assistant Managers on nights (we have 6 on days). We are the busiest ED in the US and a very young staff and the information is critical for them. Would love to see more updates to this book. Think it would be a great thing to do and would get people to love the book even more! Thanks, be safe.
